The Sunday meal planning argument is gone

For years my wife and I did the same thing every Sunday. Stand in front of the fridge. Argue about dinner for the week. Forty five minutes. Usually ended with "let's get takeout."

Now an app asks us a few questions, builds the week's plan, writes the grocery list, and emails the whole thing with a prep schedule. The headache is gone. Not smaller. Gone.

I built it over a weekend with Claude Code. For exactly one household. Ours. Access from anywhere on our network, our recipes, our preferences baked in.

Software like this barely existed before. Not a product. Not a side hustle. Just a tool for one family, built because it finally got cheap enough that "this annoys me a little" is a good enough reason to build something.
