One dead business, three products

Monday: a dead consulting business and a folder of documents.

Tuesday night: three products drafted from that folder.

The consulting service needed my hours to deliver, so it died. But the methodology was fully written down. Questionnaire, analysis process, report template, tool recommendations. Documentation nobody would ever pay to have delivered by me on a call.

So it got repackaged:

A workbook version. The audit as a self-serve kit, run it on your own business in a morning.

A short book. Same process in book form, for the person browsing Amazon at 11pm wondering why their business runs on memory.

A course module. The AI agents that ran the back office, taught as a case study, real files included.

Total new material written: maybe 20 percent. The other 80 percent existed the whole time, dressed as a service that could not scale past my calendar.

Before you delete a failed project, inventory it. The delivery model is usually what failed. The knowledge underneath it was the asset all along, and it ports.
