The most expensive part of this was never money.

“It’s expensive” is the objection I hear most, and it is almost never backed by an actual number. Nobody quotes me a price and says why it does not work. They just have not priced it, and the guess in their head is doing all the work of the objection.

Here is the real number. The Claude Code course is free. The nine tools built alongside it are free. The artifacts repo is open source, MIT licensed, copy anything out of it. Free is not a discount or an introductory rate. It is the actual price.

What it costs after that is time, and I am not rounding it to sound more impressive or easier than it is. The measured, sustained rate is twelve to seventeen hours a week. Some weeks less. Some weeks more, when something breaks.

The objection was never really about dollars. It is about whether the door is actually open before you walk up to it. This one is.
